MILITARY SPECIFICATION

RACK, BOMB EJECTOR, AIRCRAFT; AERO 27A

This specification is approved for use by the Naval Air

Systems Command, Department of the Navy, and is available

for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department

of Defense.

SCOPE

This specification establishes the requirements

Scope.

for the manufacture and inspection of one type of bomb rack capable of

carrying and releasing stores having suspension lugs spaced 355.6 milli-

meters (14 inches) and 762 millimeters (30 inches) apart and weighing

from 25 kilograms (55 pounds) to 2,041 kilograms (4,500 pounds). The

test limits in this specification define minimum acceptable capabili-

ties.
