5.2 Packing.
5.2.1 Level A,  Rocket motors packaged as specified in 5.1 shall be
packed in accordance with the drawings listed on DL 1255AS1OO or
DL 1255AS200.
5.3 Marking.  In addition to any special marking required by the
contract or order (See 6.2), unit packages and shipping containers
shall be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129. All information
appearing on the rocket motor shall be stenciled or otherwise marked
on the exterior of the rocket motor package.
6.
NOTES
6.1 Intended use.  The Rocket Motor is designed for use primarily
as a high thrust, short duration power plant to impart initial acceler-
ation to various types of drones and test sleds.
6.2 Ordering data.
Procurement documents should specify
6.2.1 Procurement requirements.
The following:
Title, number, and date of this specification
a.
b.
Mark and Mod designation of rocket motor
If first article is required, and, if so, location of
facility designated to evaluate the samples
d.  Disposition of completed data card and first article
inspection and test report
e. Lot size
f. That the safety precaution requirements of the "Contractors'
Safety Manual for Ammunition, Explosives, and Related Dangerous
Material," DOD 4145.26M, are applicable. NOTE: When this specifi-
cation is used as part of the description of work to be accomplished
by a Government activity, the safety precaution requirements of
"Ammunition and Explosives Ashore," OP 5, are applicable.
Marking if other than as specified (See 5.3)
