MILITARY SPECIFICATION
SCARIFIED ASSEMBLIES, BACK-RIP, EARTH,
DOZER MOUNTED
This specification is mandatory for use by all Depart-
ments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers back-rip scarifier assem-
blies for mounting on angledozers and bulldozers conforming to
MIL-A-17076 and MIL-B-52449 respectively.
1.2 Classification. Scarifier assemblies shall be of the following
types and sizes as specified:
Type I
- For straight-blade and semi-U
blade dozers covered
in MIL-A-17076 and bulldozers
covered in MIL-B-52449.
Size 1 - For MIL-A-17076, size 1 dozer
Size 2 - For MIL-A-17076, size 2 dozer
and MIL-B-52449, size 1
Size 3 - For MIL-A-17076, size 3 dozer
and MIL-B-52449, size 2
Size 4 - For MIL-A-17076, size 4 dozer
and MIL-B-52449, size 3
Size 5 - For MIL-A-17076, size 5 dozer
Size 6 -For MIL-A-17076, size 6 dozer
angle-blade dozers covered in MIL-A-17076.
Type II -For
size 1 dozer
Size 1 - For
size 2 dozer
Size 2 - For
size 3 dozer
Size 3 -For
size 4 dozer
Size 4 - For
size 5 dozer
Size 5 - For
size 6 dozer
Size 6 - FOr
