3.8.3.3
Extraneous loads and moments. The ATS/AD air inlet
flange shall be capable of withstanding, simultaneously, the acceleration
forces defined in paragraph 3.3.2.1, the tensile load defined in paragraph
3.8.3.2, and the mechanical loads and moments defined in paragraph
3.8.3.1.
3.9
Marking.
3.9.1
Nameplate.  Each ATS/AD shall be clearly and permanently
marked with an irreversible nameplate in accordance with MIL-STD-130,
securely attached to a part of the ATS/AD which will not ordinarily be
renewed during normal service life, specifying the following information:
STARTER, AIR TURBINE, ACCESSORY DRIVE
COMBINATION, AIRCRAFT ENGINE, GENERAL
SPECIFICATION FOR

3.9.2
Marking of product.  The specification and M22518/
*Part Number shall not be used on ATS/AD until notification has been
received in writing that the ATS/AD has been approved for use in Naval
aircraft.
3.9.3
Marking of parts.  Each part and assembly shall be
marked with its part number, and drawing revision symbol where applicable,
which shall be the same as the drawing number, except for the following:
a.
Those parts which do not have a suitable or
sufficient surface for a part number.
b.
Those parts which are permanently assembled by
welding, brazing, soldering, or riveting shall carry the assembly part
number.
