4.2
The inspection requirements specified
herein are classified as follows:
(a) First article inspection (see 4.3).
(b) Quality conformance inspection (see 4.4).
4.3 First articl e
pection . When specified (see 6.2), a sample shall be
subjected to the first article inspection. The first article inspection shall
consist of the requirements specified in table IV. One or more failures of any
test shall be cause for rejection.

Materials Verification
4.4 Qual i ty conforman ce inspection. Quality conformance inspection shall
consist of the inspections and tests shown in table V. Quality conformance
inspection shall be performed on every lot of sprinklers acquired under this
specification.
