MILITARY SPECIFICATION
SEAT, TROOP, VARIABLE SEATING WIDTH
This specification is approved for use by the Department
of the Air Force, and is available for use by all Depart-
ments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification establishes the requirements for two types
of wall-style, lightweight, folding, variable seating width troop seats.
1.2 Classification. Troop seats shall be of the following types as
specified:
Type I
- Twenty-Inch Unit
Type II - Forty-Inch Unit
