APPENDIX A
HUD-radar altitude interface. The HUDS receives low and high
limit discretes directly from the radar altimeter. Radar altitude
comes to the HUDS as a digital work in the data from the FCC. In
case of FCC malfunction, radar altitude information may be absent.
The HUDS continue to generate high and low warning symbols normally
in response to these discretes in that case.
