TABLE III. Distribution of Reliability Test
1/ The unit shall be subjected to the environmental test without operational
cycling before exposure to the next test.
2/ The unit shall be subjected to the environmental test and then subjected to
one automatic operation as specified in 4,6.3.3. The unit shall be reconditioned
after the automatic operation before it is subjected to the next test.
3/ Unit 1 shall be subjected to ten of these cycles as specified in 4,6.14.1.1.
4.6.14.1.2. Longevity. The survival kit containers that have been designated
units 1 and 2 shall be continued through a longevity test after completion of
the reliability tests. One of the surviva1 kit containers shun be operated
as specified in 4.6.3.1 for 240 cycles. The other survival kit container shall
be operated as specified in 4.6.3.2 for 240 cycles. So cable adjustment shall
be made or required during the longevity test. Parts requiring replacement
within this period of time and the normally operating period of such parts shall be
recorded by the contractor.
4.6.14.2 Automatic operating mode. The reliability of the automatic actuator
shall be in accordance with MIL-C=25918 and shall be Demonstrated during the
static firing tests specified therein. In addition, the survival kit container
that has been designated unit 5 shall be subjected to tests as specified in
table III. The hardware of the survival kit container shall be cycled in
accordance with the schedule specified in table III for 14 consecutive successful
