k Set ON-OFF switch to OFF.
1. Remove positive lead of external VTVM from center tap of RI 7 and connect to positive
(+) jack P6 located in the chassis.
m. Set ON-OFF switch to ON, and adjust R18 until external VTVM meter indicates 510 volts.
10 volts from center tap of R17
n. Repeat steps f through m as necessary to achieve 230
and negative (-) jack P7 and 510  10 volts from P6 to P7.
o. Disconnect the external VIVM from the circuit.
3.5.2 Time delay circuit calibration procedures.
3.5.2.1 Five-second timing delay calibration procedure. With the panel-chassis assembly removal
from the ease, procedures 3.5.2.1a through 3.5.2.1i shall be performed in sequence.
a. Set the TEST SELECTOR switch at 1.
b. If the HOME lamp is not lit, depress and hold the ADVANCE switch until the HOME lamp
lights.
c. Set the ON-OFF switch at OFF.
d. Connect a jumper across the terminals of the VOLTAGE and LEAKAGE meter. This
jumper must be as short as possible and make positive electric contact with both meter terminals.
e. Connect the external electric timer specified by 4.7b to pins B and C of the 3 contact
ADAPTER CABLES connector, P3.
f. Set the ON-OFF switch at ON.
g. Set the TEST SELECTOR switch at 2.
h. Momentarily depress the START switch. The timer shall run for 5.0  0.25 seconds. If the
timer runs for a period other than 5.0  0.25 seconds. momentarily depress the START switch
again. Adjust the slider on resistor R5 nearest the end of R5 which is connected with a gray wire
until the timer stops 5.0  0.25 seconds after the START switch is momentarily depressed.
