Compressed air regulating system - A compressed air regu-

lating system shall be provided and shall be of adequate size and stability for con-
tinuous operation.  System components shall consist of a 0-200 psi gage to indicate
pressure at source, a filter and trap, a regulator (200 psi rated), and a suitable
gage to indicate regulated pressure.

shall be as specified in the detail specification.
3.4.13
Lubrication - AU components requiring periodic lubrication
shall be provided with fittings in accordance with MIL-F-3541. Lubrication fit-
tings shall be installed in easily accessible locations and a placard shall be provid-
ed adjacent to each fitting indicating the type of lubricant to be used. Components
installed within the enclosure at any inaccessible locations shall be connected by
tubing (rigid or flexible) to an adjacent location outside the structure and above the
level of the component.
3.4.14
Noise level - The noise level of any particular operating
section or the combined sections together shall not exceed 90 decibels.
Performance - The test equipment shall meet the perfor-

mance requirements of this specification when tested as specified under 4, 6.
3.6
Finish - All exposed parts and surfaces of the test equipment
and it components shall be finished as specified herein.
Corrosion-resistant metal parts - All protected metal parts

and surfaces that are constructed of corrosion-resistant material and on which
a protective coating would be detrimental to proper functioning, shall not be given
protective coatings. All exposed metal parts and surfaces, and all protected metal
parts on which a protective coating will not be detrimental to proper functioning shall
be treated to satisfy the requirements of this specification.
Ferrous materials - Ferrous surfaces shall be cleaned and

given protective treatment by either of the following methods:
a.  Cleaning treatment in accordance with TT-C-490, Type I
and primer coating in accordance with TT-P-636.
b.  Cleaning treatment in accordance with TT-C-490,
Method I or II and primer coating in accordance with MIL-P-26915.
