MIL-T-23588C(OS)
to O psig within one minute. Record the O psig output immediately on
return to O psig and 15 seconds later.  The transducer shall meet the
requirements of 3.4.8.
4.5*4.9  Operating range. Cycle the pressure cell from 0 to 500 psig
and record the output at these extremes.  Load the pressure cell to 600
psig and then return to zero.  Repeat the O to 500 psig cycle and record
the output at the extremes.  The difference between the readings-obtained
before and after the 600 psig cycle shall be not greater than 0.1 percent
of full scale to verify the requirement of 3.4.1.1
4.5.4.10 Resolution.  Disconnect the primary pressure standard from
the transducer and couple the glass cylinder to the transducer. Fill
the cylinder with enough water to move the cell off zero. Record the
output. Increase water head by 1-3/8 inches (equivalent to .05 psi)
and record the output.  The transducer shall meet the requirement of
3.4.9.
4.5.4.11 Disconnect the transducer from the glass cylinder and the cal-
ibration indicator.
4.5.4.12 Insulation resistance.  Connect transducer terminals 1, 2, 3,
and 4 together, using the megohmmeter (4.5.3.3), and with 50 volts dc ap-
plied, measure resistance between the terminals and case and between term-
inals and ground.  The transducer shall meet the requirement of 3.4.12.
4.5.4.13 Resistance.  Disconnect transducer terminals 1, 2, 3, and 4
from each other and, with no pressure applied to the transducer, measure
resistance between terminals, using resistance bridge (4.5.3.2). The
resistance shall be as specified in 3.4.11.
4.5.4.14 Visual and dimensional examination. Each transducer shall
be examined to determine conformance with the requirements for workmen0
ship and dimensions.
4.5.4.15 Packaging, paeking, and marking. Packaging, packing, and
marking shall comply with the requirements of Section 5.
*
5.1 reservation and packaging.  The levels of preservation and pack-
aging shall be Level A or C as specified (see 6.2).
*
5.1.1 Level A
*
5.1.1.1 unit packaging.  The pressure transducer shall be packaged in
accordance with Method 1A-5 of MIL-P-116 and LD 620031.
