REQUIREMENTS:
Dimensions and configuration:  See figures.
1.
Switch shall be 500-volt, 60-ampere, three-phase, quick make and break contact type.

All steel parts of box and cover shall be assembled by welding as specified

herein.
All projection and spot welding shall be performed by machines having automatic
4.
control of current, timing, and pressure to insure proper uniformity of the
operation.
All parts shall be positioned by jig while welding to insure proper alinement.
5.
All line contacting mechanisms shall have an interrupting capacity of not less
6.
than 360 amperes.
7.
Cable entrance holes in barrier, piece 9, shall be in exact alignment with cable
holes of terminal, piece 7 and terminal screw holes in piece 7 shall be in exact
alignment with holes in the barrier, piece 10.
8.
Switch position shall be stamped or enbossed on the cover or shall be designated
by attaching permanent metal plates.
9.
An installation and operating instruction sheet(s) shall be furnished with each
switch.
10.
If the manufacturer makes only the enclosure, his identification marking shall be
on the interior of the cover.
11.
The design and locations showm for pieces 5, 7, 11, 12, 13, 21, 27 and 28 are
typical and shall be changed as necessary to conform to the design of switch,
piece 6 as described in requirement 2.
