3.
REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Fabrication.- The telescope shall be manufactured in accordance
with all drawings applicable to the telescope specified in the contract or
order and drawings pertaining thereto.
3.2 General specifications.- The contractor shall be responsible for
adherence to, and compliance with, the following requirements of Specifica-
tions MIL-O-13830 and MIL-F-13926.

3.3
Environmental.
3.3.1 Storage temperature.- The telescope shall show no evidence of
physical failure and shall meet all performance requirements of this speci-
fication at a standard ambient temperature of 60 to 90 Fahrenheit (F)
after having been exposed to, and thermally stabilized at, ambient tempera-
tures of -80 and +160F.
3.3.2 Operating temperatures.- The telescope shall meet the applic-
able requirements of 3.9 while exposed to and thermally stabilized at
ambient temperatures of -40 and +150F.
3.3.3 Vibration.- The telescope shall be vibrated at a frequency of
30 cycles per second with an amplitude of 1/16 inch (1/8 inch total ex-
cursion) for a period of 5 minutes 15 seconds.  Subsequent to vibration
there shall be no evidence of physical failure and the telescope shall meet
the requirements of 3.4 to 3.10 inclusive.
