4.7.2.10.1 Internal pressure.-  This test to be performed using
standard shop type pressure gage using standard inspection techniques.
This test to be performed on a 100% inspection basis just prior to
packaing for shipment. Any telescope found not to contain an internal
pressure in accordance with 3.5 shall be rejected and repressurized and
retested in accordance with 4.7.2.10. All retested telescopes shall be
aside for a minimum of 12 hours and then retested for internal pressure
in accordance with 3.5. Should the telescope fail second test, the
telescope shall be rejected.
4.7.2.11 Torque.-  Torque to be measured using appropriate adapters
and torque measuring devices (scales, weights or wrench). Torque measure-
ments to be considered as running torque and are to be performed under
temperature conditions outlined in 3.9 and shall conform to the require-
ments of 3.9.1, 3.9.2 and 3.9.3.
4.7.2.12 Insulation resistance.-  This test shall be conducted in
accordance with Method 302 of MIL-STD-202, using test condition "A".
Insulation resistance measurements shall be made between insulated
points and ground. Insulation resistance shall not be less than the
value specified in 3.10.
PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY

5.1 Packaging, packing and marking shall be in accordance with
MIL-P-14232 and the applicable packaging data sheet as follows:

The level of protection shall be as specified in the procurement document.

NOTES
6.1 Intended use.-  Elbow Telescopes M118 Series and T176E4 are
intended for use as components of the primary direct fire control sys-
tems on self-propelled howitzers.
