3.5.6 Steps. Heavy duty, metal, fold-away type steps shall be provided at the entrance.
3.5.7 Insulation. The insulation shall be either fiberglass or foam type. The insulation shall
not support combustion; sustain flame, mold or rot; sustain vermin; corrode metals; absorb
odors; disintegrate under vibration; or settle and leave voids. Insulation material shall be
homogeneous and uniform in density and thermal efficiency. Insulation material shall be
capable of flexing more than its containing structure without tendency to crack or rupture. The
roof, doors, walls, and floor shall be insulated.
3.5.8 Interior arrangement. The interior arrangement of the trailer shall be such that the bath
area shall be in the rear of the trailer and shall be separate from the sleeping, living, and kitchen
area. The kitchen area may be arranged along one side and the sleeping area along the opposite
side of the trailer. The front portion of the trailer shall be arranged for work and dining.
3.5.9 Interior furnishings. Interior furnishings shall include at least the following:

Combination gas-electric refrigerator, 170 liters (L) (6 cubic foot) minimum for
sizes 21 and 25; 227 liters (8 cubic foot), for sizes 29 and 32; and 227 liters
(8 cubic foot) or 283 liters (10 cubic foot) for size 34

Four-burner gas range with oven
(3)
Double stainless steel kitchen sinks with hot and cold water, with faucet(s)
(4)
Non-powered ceiling vent above range
(5)
Kitchen storage cabinets, lower and upper
(6)
Electrical receptacle outlet above counter top, 120-volt ac
(7)
Electric lights for kitchen area

Bath area
(1)
Mirrored cabinet at eye level
(2)
Electrical receptacle, l20-volt ac, with ground fault protection
(3)
