3.4 Performance. A complete vehicle, loaded with rated payload and serviced with
standard products specified (see Table IV and 6.6) shall meet performance requirements
specified herein. Vehicle, serviced and equipped for existing climatic conditions, shall operate
as specified without special equipment. Unless otherwise specified, performance shall be
demonstrated on relatively level, smooth, hard-surfaced roads free of loose material.

3.4.1 Environmental. Unless otherwise specified, the vehicle shall operate in ambient air
temperature of plus 115F to minus 25, and with special equipment installed, at temperature
ranges of minus 25F to minus 65F. The complete vehicle when in storage shall withstand
