SPECIFICATION
TELESCOPE, PANORAMIC: M137 and M137A1
This specification is approved for use by the U.S. Army
Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command and is available for use
by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1.
SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers two types of panoramic
telescopes which provide four-power magnification and a ten-
degree field of view. They are equipped with numerical counters
which indicate azimuth settings and corrections. A settable
counter provides readings from deflection reference point (M137,
M137A1) and a bearing reference point. The reticle pattern and
counters numerals are radioactively illuminated.
