4.7.2 Electrical.  Continuity shall be inspected by standard
measuring equipment and visual examination for compliance with 3.4.
4.7.3 Performance.
4.7.3.1 Initial conditions.
Connect cable W204 as shown in Figure 1.
a.
b.
Apply +24 Vdc + 1 percent at 0.6 ampere (unless
otherwise specified) to the power input cable W204, pins A(+),
B(RET) and C(GND).  For bench use, use connecter adapter (item 40,
Table III) with extension leads soldered to pin terminals.

Turn ON/OFF switch to ON position.
d.
AllOW an initial warm-up as defined in 3.4.2.
4.7.3.2
Input voltaqe.
a.
Set noise tester controls as follows:
(1) OPER/TEST switch to +12 VA position.
(2) MODE switch in either INT or EXT TEST position.
b.  Meter (Ml) shall remain at center position (within
limits defined by black band).
c.
Set OPER/TEST switch to +12 VB position.
d .  Meter (Ml) shall remain at center position (within
limits defined by black band).
e.
Set the power supply (item 2, Table 111) to +18 Vdc ~ 1
percent, as monitored on the DVM (item 5, Table III).
f*
Repeat Steps a. through f.
Set the power supply (Item 2, Table III) to +30 Vdc + 1

percent, as monitored on the DVM (item 5, Table III).

Repeat Steps a. through f.
i.  The power indicator light (DS1) shall exhibit no
perceptible change in intensity over the full range of input
operating voltage (+24 + 6 Vdc) as tested above.
Set the power supply (item 2, Table III) to +24 + 1 Vdc
j.
as monitored on the DVM (Item 5, Table III).
