MILITARY SPECIFICATION SHEET
TRUCK, LIFT, FORK, ELECTRIC, SOLID TIRES,
4000-POUND CAPACITY, 144-INCH LIFT
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of
the Department of Defense.
The requirements for acquiring the product described herein shall consist
of this specification sheet and the issue of the following specification
listed in that issue of the Department of Defense Index of Specifications
and Standards (D0DISS) specified in the solicitation: MIL-C-52953.
REQUIREMENTS
1.
Capacity: 4000 pounds at 24 inches load center.
2.
Tire Type: Solid Rubber.
3.
Collapsed mast height: 72 inches maximum.
4.
Maximum fork height: 144 inches minimum.
5.
Free lift height: 47 inche s minimum.
6.
Fork size: 1-13/16 inches maximum thickness X 5-1/16 inches maximum
width X 42 inches long, plus 0 inch minus 0.5 inch.
7.
Fork spacing: 10 inches to minimum 30 inches.
8.
Overhead guard height: 83 inches maximum.
9.
Right-angle turn dimensions: 142 inches maximum. (Add 4 inches when
side shift is used).
10.
Travel speed: 6 mph minimum.
11.
Upright tilt: 5 degrees, plus or minus 1 degree, forward ; 5 degrees
minimum rearward.
12.
Lifting speed (loaded): 43 feet per minute (minimum).
13.
Battery: 850 AH @ 6 hr. rate (minimum).
14.
Underclearance: 3 .25 inch minimum.
