This specification is approved for use by the U.S. Army
Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command, and is available for we
by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1.
SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers one type of a one and one
half power (1.5X) fixed focus telescope known as Telescope, Elbow:
9360257 used with the U.S. Army mortar systems, M252. Throughout
this specification this instrument is referenced as "telescope."
This telescope has a radioactively illuminated reticle (see 3.2.1
and 6.1).
