3.4.1.6.2.6 Pallet Shaft Assembly.
3.4.1.6.2.6. 1 Function.
The Pallet Shaft Assembly shall serve to support
the three pallets of the Receiver Section of the AN/APG-59 Radar Set Bar-
rel Assembly for service and adjustment.
The Pallet Shaft Assembly shall
also distribute cooling air to these pallets through a central shaft and
associated manifolds.
3.4.1.6.2.6.2 Form Factor.
The Pallet Shaft Assembly shall consist of a
rotable hollow shaft, nominal 4-3/4 inches in diameter by 44 inches high.
The shaft shall rest on load-bearing surface built into the Base Structure
below the Bench Top and shall be supported by overhead structure of the
Rear Frame.
