(d) Plenum Chamber
3.4.1.6.2.7.7.1 Centrifugal Fan. The Fan shall be designed to operate
continuously and shall deliver sufficient air to comply with performance
requirement specified in 3.4.1.6.2.7.6. The unit shall be 16-1/2
inches by 25-5/6 inches by 20 inches including the air inlet and exhause unit.
The air inlet and exhaust shall be a nominal 4-1/2 inches in diameter.
Weight shall not exceed 275 pounds.
3.4.1.6.2.7.7.2 Transition Unit.
The Transition Unit shall contain an
acoustical baffle and air filter.
This unit shall mate the air inlet of the fan
through a 9-1/2 inch long duct to an 18-inch by 12-inch air inlet.

acoustical foam baffle shall reduce the fan acoustical noise to or below the
level specified in 3.4. 1.6.2.7, 5.
3.4.1.6.2.7.7.3 Distribution Ducts.

series with a sensing element installed in the Plenum chamber of the
Computer Support Structure.
