4.6 Methods of inspection. The following test procedures, or equivalent procedures acceptable
to the Government, shall be applied to determine conformance to requirements of 3.4. Prior to
performing the following tests, preparation for testing in accordance with 4.3.4 shall have been
accomplished to provide a proper setup.
4.6.1 Proof pressure. To determine conformance to 3.4.1.1:
a. Position shaft at midtravel position (36 20 rotation form full rotation position).
