MIL-A-83783(USAF)
b.  While holding the K1 RELAY switch, S9, in the "on" position, check
for continuity between ground and P2L.  Release S9 and place the AN/GWM-4
FUNCTION switch S3 in the CONTINUITY position. Check for ground at, P2H.
Return S3 to the INSULATION RESISTANCE position momentary apply a ground to
each of the "test circuit" pins listed in Table 1.  The AN/GWM-4 FAULT light-,
13, shall illuminate on each step.  Override back to the "S" position upon
completion of step 23.
c. Momentarily energize the CIRCUIT ADVANCE switch S3 on the test adapter.
The number "2" shall appear in the POSITION window. Momentarily override to
step 1 on the AN/GWM-4.  Check for the presence of +28 volts DC on each of the
"test circuit" pins shown in Table 1.
d.  Override to step 2 on the A2/GMW-4.  Momentarily apply a ground to
each of the "test circuit" pins listed in Table II for steps 2 through 17.
The AN/GWM-4 FAULT light, I3, shall illuminate on each step.
e. Auto-scan back to the "S" position upon completion of step 17.
f.  Place the FUNCTION switch, S3, on AX/GWM-4 in the CONTINUITY position
and momentarily energize the CIRCUIT ADVANCE switch S3 on the test adapter
until the number "1" appears in the POSITION window.
Connect a jumper as required by Table III to the listed "test circuit"
g.
pins .  On each step the AN/GWM-4 FAULT light should go out upon connection
of a Jumper.  OVERRIDE to position 18, then AUTO-SCAN back to the "S" position.
h. Momentarily energize the CIRCUIT ADVANCE switch, S3, on the test
adapter until the number "2" appears in the POSITION window.
i. Place the SIGNAL stitch, S1O, in the "on" position.  Check for the
presence of +28 volts DC to P4G and P4K and ground at pin P4L. Place the
SIGNAL switch to the "off" position.
WARNING:
Do not apply voltage to test circuit pins longer than one or
two seconds.  Disregard any arc observed when removing power
load from test circuit pin.
J. ApPlY 28 volts DC as required by Table IV to the listed test circuit
pins.  At each step, the AN/GWM-4 FAULT light should go out upon application of
voltage except steps 15 and 16.  At steps 15 and 16, the FAULT light will
remain "off" after the voltage has been removed.
k.
Override back to the "S" position.
1.  With a PSM-6 on the RXl scale, check for 5.1 +.5 ohms between the
following pins:
(1) P8M and P8T
(2) P8W and P8T
