6.8
Definitions.
6.8.1 Quality assurance provisions (QAP). A QAP is a contractual
requirement that supplements section 4 of this specification. QAP indicates
the minimum requirements which must be inspected on the end product drawings
to verify the design objectives of the product and assure interchangeability
of repair parts.
6.9 Levels of preservation and packing. Levels of preservation and packing
have not been included as the preservation specified is the minimum acceptable
for any level of protection, and no packing is required. For purposes of
preservation/packing level marking, the bridge bays shall be marked A/A.
