4.5 Methods of inspection.
4.5.1 Assembleability. The recoil amplifier and
discriminator (right and left) shall readily attach to and detach
from M2 Machine Gun. Wrench spanner (part 9370141) shall be used
to tighten gas cylinder to toggle b l o c k .
4.5.2 Functioning test. The recoil amplifier shall be
assembled to a MZ Machine Gun. Government standard .50 Caliber
M858 ball plastic cartridges shall be used for the test. The M2
Machine Gun with attached recoil amplifier and discriminator shall
be fired 50 rounds right side feed and 50 rounds left side feed. .
Each 50 round segment shall be fired 25 rounds spasmadic and 25
rounds continuous burst. The cyclic rate of fire for the 25 round
continuous burst shall be recorded.
5.
PACKAGING
I
5.1 Levels A and B. The recoil amplifier shall be packaged
in accordance with packaging data sheet P9370142 and as specified
in the contract.

5.2 Markinq. Marking shall be in accordance with the
applicable packaging data sheet and as specified in the contract.
5.3 Shipp inqo when components from more than one lot are
shipped at one time, each lot shall be kept separate, and the
division between lots clearly indicated to prevent mixing of the
lots in transit.
