in the contract or order (see 6.2), preproduction samples of the
Handling Band shall be manufactured using the methods and pro-

specified in Section 4 herein and is for the purpose of determining
that, prior to starting productions the contractor's production
methods are capable of yielding items that comply with the
technical requirements of the documents noted in 3.1.2.
3.2 Performance requirements and product characteristics -

meeting-the following performance requirements and product
characteristics:
3.2.1 Static load requirements

3.2.1.2 Lifting holes - There shall be no evidence of
structural failures visible damages or permanent deformation
when the Handling Band has been secured to a mandrel 13 inches

and maintained for one (1), minute (see 4.4.2).

documents referenced in Section 2, unless specified in the
contract or order (see 6.2).
