NOTES
6.1 Ordering data. - Procurement documents should. specify
the title, number and date of this specification, and except-
ions to this specification, applicable drawings and other
documents. Procurement documents shall specify Level A pack-
aging and packing protection for all shipments.
6.2 Oil No. 6001 as supplied by Seth Thomas Clocks of
Thomaston, Connecticut, has been tested and has satisfactor-
ily met the requirements for lubrication of the Mainspring.
Any other product offered as an alternate must be tested and
approved by the Bureau of Ordnance prior to use in this
application.
6.3 Oil No. 5002 as supplied by Seth Thomas Clocks of
Thomaston, Connecticut, has been tested and has Satisfactor-
ily met the requirements for lubrication of the Gear Train.
Any other product offered as an alternate must be tested and
approved by the Bureau of Ordnance prior to use in this ap-
plication.
Notice. - When Government drawings, specifications, or
