4.4.3 Dimensional examination. Dimensional examination shall be conducted
for compliance with dimensions specified. Any dimension not within specification
tolerance shall be a defect. The inspection level shall be S-3 with an AQL
of 10 expressed in terms of defects per hundred units. Unit of product shall
be the component of an end item or an end item, as applicable.

4.4.4 In-process testing. In-process testing shall be conducted to
ascertain that components or assemblies which cannot be readily tested in the
end item are in accordance with specification requirements. In-process testing
shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-105 and as indicated in table IV,
except that the acceptance number shall be zero for all sample sizes. A
failure during 100 percent inspection shall cause rejection of that component
or item only (not the entire lot). Unit of product shall be as specified in
table IV.
4.4.5 End item testing. End item testing shall be conducted in accordance
with MIL-STD-105 and as indicated in table IV, except that the acceptance
number shall be zero for all sample sizes. A failure during 100 percent
inspection shall cause rejection of that component or item only (not the entire
lot). Unit of product shall be as specified in table IV.
