| MIL-C-38418E(AS)
a.
Rotate the gimbal system in positive pitch by following the
sequence defined in 4.6.2.5a, b, and C, except remove the test voltages
per 4.6.2.5c when the pitch angle has become approximately So.
b.
Reapply pitch erection and monitor the pitch angle and the
voltage indicated by the ACVM.
(Pitch erection may be applied
intermittently to facilitate testing.)
(1)
The voltage shall increase to 12Vac at a positive pitch
angle of 4 15' or less. Record the angle.
(2)
The voltage shall increase to 15Vac at a positive pitch
angle of 3 15' or greater. Record the angle.
(3)
The voltage shall increase to 21Vac minimum when the
displacement gyroscope is fully erected in pitch. Record the voltage.
c.
Fully erect the displacement gyroscope in pitch.
d.
Rotate the gimbal system in negative pitch by following the
sequence defined in 4.6.2.5a, b, and C, except reverse the polarity of
the isolated 11.8V A connection in 4.6.2.5a and remove the test voltages
per 4.6.2.5c when the pitch angle has become approximately So.
e.
Reapply pitch erection and monitor the pitch angle and the
voltage indicated by the ACVM. (Pitch erection may be aplied
intermittently to facilitate testing.)
(1)
The voltage shall increase to 12Vac at a negative pitch
angle of 4 15' or less. Record the angle.
(2)
The voltage shall increase to 15Vac at a negative pitch
angle of 3 15' or greater. Record the angle.
f.
Fully erect the displacement gyroscope in pitch.
4.6.2.7.1 Reliability and Environmental Test Limits - When the test
specified in 4.6.2.7 is performed during the tests specified in 4.4.1.1
and 4.6.12 through 4.6.24, the following shall apply:
