6.
NOTES
6.1 Intended use. - The Ballistics Computers are electromechanical
components of the primary fire control system for 105 MM Gun Tank: M60A1.
The ballistics computers manually or electrically determine and relay
to the sighting system the amount of gun superelevation required for
specific target range, and ammunition type.
6.2 Ordering data.-
Procurement documents should specify the fol-
lowing:
a.
Title, number and date of this specification.
b.
Selection of applicable levels of preservation, packaging
and packing.
Applicable stock number.
c.
d.
Applicable packaging data sheet (see 5.1).
e.
Requirement for First Article testing.
