3.
REQUIREMENTS
3.1
Fabrication. The Laser Ranging Commander's Control
C-9134( )/VVG-1, herein referred to as the unit, shall be manufactured
in accordance with Drawing F11738811 and drawings pertaining thereto.
3 . 2 General specification. The unit shall meet the following
requirements, where applicable, of M I L - F - 1 3 9 2 6 :
a.
Order of precedence
Dimensions and tolerances
b.
Inorganic protective surface finish
c.
d.
Electrical and electronic assemblies
e.
Part identification and marking
f.
Workmanship.
3. 2.1 Soldering. Soldering shall be in accordance with MIL-
S-45743 or MIL-S-46844. except that bare copper wire exposure shall
be permitted at clipped ends of component leads.
3.3 Performance. Unless otherwise specified, the unit shall
meet the performance requirements of this specification at standard
ambient temperatures between 60 degrees Fahrenheit (F) and 90F.
3.3.1 Loads, power, and signals. The unit shall perform as
specified herein when the loads, power, and signals of table I are
applied as specified.
L A S T indicator. With the +5.0 Vdc and +10 Vdc

powers (items
2.1 and 2.2 ) of table 1 applied between pins J1 -K
and J1-L, and
pins J1-H and J1-L, respectively, the LAST indicator
shall not light.
Upon subsequent application of the +15 Vdc power (item
2. 3) of table I
between pins J1 -J and J1 -L, the LAST indicator shall light.
3.3.1.2 RANGE RETURN SELECTOR. With the RANGE RETURN
SELECTOR pushbuttons depressed and released in turn, the voltages
specified in table II shall appear at the designated pins of J1.
