CAMOUFLAGE
SCREENING
SUPPORT
SYSTEMS
This specification is approved for use within the USA Belvoir Research,
Development and Engineering Center of the Army, and is
available for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Depatrtment of
Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specifiecation covers a support system completer with
components and carrying case used with the woodland, snow, or desert
lightweight synthetic camouflage screen system.
1.2 Classification. The camouflage support system covered by this
specification will be the following classes, as specified (see 6.2):
Type I - Support system with aluminum pole.
Type II - Support system with plastic pole.
Subtype A - Support system with fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) batten
spreader.
Subtype B - Support system with thermoplastic batten spreader.
Class 1 - Woodland/Desert
Class 2 - Snow
1.2.1 Individual compponents. When specified (see 6.2), the individual
components will be one or more of the assembly components specified in 3.1.2.

2.1 Government documents.

pertinent data which may be of use in improving this document should
