5.
PACKAGING
5.1 Preservation, packing, and marking.  Preservation,  packing, and marking
shall be in accordance with MIL-C-3600 with the exception that interior surfaces
of air receivers which will contain air used for breathing or respiratory
purposes and located downstream from the air-oil separator shall not be
preserved.  The degree of preservation, packing, and marking shall be level A,
B, or Commercial as specified (see 6.2).

NOTES
6.1 Intended use.  The compressor unit is intended to supply clean high
pressure breathing air for charging scuba bottles.
6.2 Ordering data.
6.2.1 Acquisition requirements.
Acquisition documents should specify the
following:

6.3.2 Maintenance ratio (MR).  The ratio of the number of maintenance man-
hours required for both scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repair (excluding
operator daily checks and services), to the number of hours of operation.
