Rough handling requirements
3.2.1
Rotational drop - There shall be no evidence of

structural failure, visible damage, or permanent deformation when
each corner of the loaded Container is allowed to fall freely
onto a rigid steel or concrete surface from a height of 24 inches
as described in 4.4.1.
3.3 Government-loaned property - The Government will
furnish the contractor on a loan basis, dynamically-simulated
Wings, Fins, Canards, and Pitot Tube. This equipment will be
utilized in testing Containers supplied under this specification
(see 6.2).
3.4
No data is required by this specification, or
by documents referenced in Section 2.1, unless specified in the
contract or order (see 6.2).
Workmanship - Workmanship in the fabrication and

assembly of Containers shall be of sufficiently high quality to
assure that completed equipment will comply with all requirements
of this specification. Particular attention shall be paid to
plating, painting, welding, bonding, marking and freedom of parts
from burrs and sharp edges. The assembled Containers shall be
thoroughly clean of all dirt, chips, and other foreign matter.
The standards of workmanship exhibited in any approved prepro-
duction sample, subject to any qualification stated in the
Government's notice of approval, shall be determinative of the
requirements of the contract relative to workmanship insofar as
not specifically covered by applicable specifications.
4.
QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS
4.1
Responsibility for inspection - Unless otherwise
specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is
responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements
as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified, this supplier
may utilize his own facilities or any commercial labratory
acceptable to the Government. The Government reserves the right
to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification
where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure that
supplies and service conform to prescribed requirements.
4.2
Classification of inspections - Inspection of the
Container shall be classified as follows:
(a) Preproduction inspection (see 4.4).
(b) Quality conformance Inspection (see 4.5).
