(1) As authorized by NAVAIR.
(2) As authorized by NAVPRO for flights performed at
the contractor's plant.
FLIGHT MONITORING
3.1.6
MOVING PICTURE COVERAGE. Moving picture
3.1.6.1
coverage of first flights, water landings,
taxiing, and take-offs as applicable, shall be provided. Termination
of this requirement will be by NAVPRO. Camera equipment will be
furnished by the Government, if available.
TELEMETERING COVERAGE. - Telemetering coverage,

when applicable, shall be provided as planned
in the conference of 3.2.1 and approved in the Demonstration Instru-
mentation Report. The use of telemetering on other demonstration
flights shall be at the discretion of the contractor as aPPPOVed by
test authorities. At the Instrumention and Test Planning Con-
ferences required by 3.2.1, and prior to procurement and installation
of telemetry equipment, the following shall be determined:
(1) Compatibility of proposed telemtering equipment
with NAVMISCEN (Naval Missile Center) and
NAVAIRTESTCEN ground equipment.
(2) Compliance with existing NAVAIRTESTCEN or NAV-
MISCEN telemetry standards as applicable.
(3) Incorporation of back-up source of power to
assure continuity of transmission in the event
of a power failure.
(4) The extent to which telemeteing coverage will
be employed during demonstration flights witnessed
by the test authorities.
CHASE AIRCRAFT. - Chase helicopters or air-

craft shall be used for the first forward
flight of a new model helicopter. For other flights at or near the
contractor's plant, determination of whether or not chase aircraft
are to be used shall be made by the NAVPRO. Chase aircraft will
be provided by the test authority during tests and demonstrations
which test authorities determine require chase aircraft.
