3.4.3.1.1.3 Penetration selector. A single thumbwheel switch
shall be provided for selecting penetration after impact for use
with XM433 RC fuzes. Time of function shall be taken from the
FCC. In the absence of an FCC, the time of function shall be as
shown in Table II.

3.4.3.1.1.4 Rate selector. The rates of fire, selectable by
means of the selector switch, shall be: slow (180 18
milliseconds), fast (60 6 milliseconds for non-RC fuzed rounds
and XM433 RC fuze, 70 7 milliseconds for XM439 RC fuzed rounds),
and automatic rate, depending on type of warhead, as listed in
paragraph 3.4.3.1.1.1.
3.4.3.1.1.5 Mode selector. By means of the Front Panel
mounted mode selector switch, the DU shall be capable of providing
the following modes of fire:
