Remote Control PEK-23/A47U-1
3.6.3.1
Function - The unit shall provide for remote control of the launcher.
3.6.3.2
Form Factor - The envelope dimensions of the remote control shall be in
accordance with EX-403.

Weight - The weight of the remote control shall not exceed 3.5 pounds.
Contents - The remote control shall contain the following assemblies, sub-

assemblies, circuits, etc.

Mounting - The mounting shall be in accordance with EI-403.

Face Plate - The face plate shall mount devices necessary for operation of the
equipment and shall have suitable legends engraved thereon.

Chassis - The chassis shall have provisions for mounting the parts which cannot
be attached to the face of the unit.

Power Switch - The power switch shall be a rotary selector switch. In the "OFF"
position the switch shall interrupt electrical power from the aircraft to the remote control & the
"STAND-BY" position electrical power shall be supplied to those parts requiring reheating prior
to satisfactory operation. In the "OPERATE" position electrical power shall be supplied to operate
the remote control and the launcher.
