MILITARY SPECIFICATION
FILTER ELEMENT, SHIP FUEL SYSTEM PRE-FILTER,
NON-CLEANABLE, HIGH EFFICIENCY
This specification is approved for use within the Naval Sea Systems Command,
Department of the Navy, and is available for use by all Departments and
Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1.
SCOPE
1.1 Scope.  This specification covers high efficiency filter elements
for use in navy distillate fuel, F-76 conforming to MIL-F-16884 or turbine fuel,
aviation grade, JP-5 conforming to MIL-T-5624 (see 6.1).
APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 Government document.
2.1.1 Specifications and standards.  The following specifications and
standards form a part of this specification to the extent specified herein.
Unless otherwise specified, the issues of these documents shall be those
listed in the issue of the Department of Defense Index of Specifications and
Standards (DoDISS) and supplement thereto, cited in the solicitation.
