4.2 Classification of inspections.
The inspection requirements specified
herein are classified as follows:
(a) Qualification inspection (see 4,3).
(b) Quality conformance inspection (see 4.4).
4.3 Qualification inspection.
Qualification inspection shall be conducted
at a laboratory acceptable to the Command or agency concerned. Qualification
inspection shall consist of the examination and tests specified in table I.
For
each element, tests shall be performed in the sequence shown in table I. Failure
of any test shall be cause for rejection.
