REQUIREMENTS

3 . 1 M a t e r i a l . - Materials shall be in accordance with applicable
drawings and specifications.
3.2 F u z e A s s e m b l y . - The loaded fuze assembly shall comply with the
requirements specified on Drawing (dwg.) 9268198 and with all requirements
specified in applicable specifications.
3 . 3 B o o s t e r a n d B o o s t e r L e a d P e l l e t s . - The RDX and Explosive Compo-
sition
A5
pellets
shall
meet
the
requirements
of
MIL-P-45486
with
the
ex-
ception that the composition of the Explosive Composition A5 shall be in
accordance with MIL-E-14970.
3.4, B o o s t e r F u n c t i o n i n g . - The complete Fuze (including live booster
assembly) when armed and f u n c t i o n e d s h a l l d e t o n a t e h i g h o r d e r .
3 . 5 B a l l i s t i c F i r i n g . - The complete fuze (with live booster assembly)
shall detonate after penetrating a bunker type target.
3.6 W o r k m a n s h i p . - T h e l o a d i n g a n d a s s e m b l y o p e r a t i o n s s h a l l b e p e r -
