5.1 P a c k a g i n g a n d M a r k i n g . - The fuze assemblies shall be packaged and
m a r k e d i n a c c o r d a n c e w i t h MI L - P - 6 0 4 1 2 .
5.2 P a c k i n g a n d M a r k i n g . - The packaged fuzes shall be packed and
marked in accordance with MIL-P-60412.

- P r o c u r e m e n t d o c u m e n t s s h a l l s p e c i fr y t h e f o l l o w i n g :
a. Title, number and date of this specification.
b . Data cards. - Data cards shall be prepared for each lot in accord-
ante with the information specified in Standard MIL-STD-1167.
6.2 I n s p e c t i o n C o d e N u m b e r s . - The five digit code numbers assigned to
the inspections herein are to facilitate future data collection and analysis
by the Government. These code numbers are used to correlate the character-
istics cited on Equipment Lists with the inspections listed in this specifi-

6.3 I n s p e c t i o n E q u i p m e n t - The contractor shall design inspection
equipment as required by the referenced inspection Equipment Lists (EL) in
accordance with the instructions of Paragraphs 6.3.1 through 6.3.5.
6.3.1 Inspection E q u i p m e n t Lists. - Inspection equipment lists indi-
cate the avai lab lity of inspection equipment designs by showing in the
"number" column of the list of inspection equipment (Form SMUPA 1010) the
numbers of drawings or Federal Stock Numbers of existing equipment designs,
or codes as indicated in Paragraph 6.3.2.
Design action required of the
contractor is described in Paragraphs 6.3.3 and 6.3.4. The contractor
will be required to prepare detailed drawings in accordance with 6.3.4 for
a l l t h e e q u i p m e n t c o d e d a s " C o n t r a c t o r D e s i g n " i n t h e n u m b e r c o l u m n . These
contractor designs must be approved by the Government prior to fabrication
or procuring of the equipment.
Designs shall be submitted for approval as
specified in 6.3.5.
6.3.2 I n s p e c t i o n E q u i p m e n t L i s t C o d e s . - The inspection equipment, as
defined in 6.3.3 and 6.3.4, will be designated in the EL by the following
codes:
CD - C o n t r a c t o r d e s i g n o n c o n t r o l l e d c o n t r a c t o r f o r m a t
and/or commercial equipment
MU - A r m y d e s i g n ; m a n d a t o r y f o r u s e .
