Strain-gage type transducers may be used provided the undamped
natural frequency is equal or greater than 1.5 KHZ with the damping
approximately 0.64 to 0.70 of critical.  (Resonant frequencies
greater than 1.5 KHz are recommended.)
c.  Filters.  A band-pass filter may be used to display and
record the fundamental frequency of the shock pulse providing it has
band-pass within the frequency range of 0.2 to 650 Hz and will not
degrade the response of the system to exceed the limits specified in
item a, above.
d.  Fixture.  The holding fixture for the FCC-FTS shall be the
same test fixture used for the vibration test.
4. 8.1.5.2 Shock test equ i pment. The test equi ment listed in
`i
Table XV is required to conduct the shock tests.
A l1 measurements
shall be made with instruments whose accuracy and calibration has
been verified periodically and meet specification requirements.
