3. REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Material. - Materials shall be in accordance with appli-
cable drawings and specifications.
3.2 Conformance. - The fuze assemblies and parts shall comply
with all requirements specified on Drawing (dwg.) 9271602, and with
all requirements specified in applicable specifications.
3.2.1 Spring embrittlement .- None of the springs used in the
fabrication of the fuze shall break when extended or distorted to
the point of minimum permanent distortion.
3.2.2 Setback weight spring set. - The setback weight spring
shall return within .015 inch of the original free length when
compressed and heat treated.
