Mounting configurations previously used in mounting the Fuze Function Control Sets
AN/AWW-2A and AN/AWW-2B.
3.5.3.2 Weight - The weight of the Adapter Mount MX-8556/AWW-4(V) shall not
exceed 1.5 pounds.
3.5.4 Adapter, Mount MX-8557/AWW-4(V) - The Adapter Mount MX-8557/AWW-4(V)
shall be manufactured in accordance with the documents listed on DL 67A21D1 and
shall meet the requirements stated thereon and in the following subparagraphs.
3.5.4.1 Function - The Adapter Mount MX-8557/AWW-4(V) shall provide the
electrical and mechanical interfaces used to adapt the Power Supply PP-6419/AWW-4(V)
to certain aircraft mounting and wiring configurations previously used in mounting
the Fuze Function Control Set AN/AWW-l.
3.5.4.2 Weight - The weight of the Adapter Mount MX-8557/AWW-4(V) shall not
exceed 2.4 pounds.
3.5.5 Adapter, Mount MX-8558/AWW-4(V) - The Adapter Mount MX-85S8/AWW-4(V)
shall be manufactured in accordance with the documents listed on DL 67A21D1 and
shall meet the requirements stated thereon and in the following subparagraphs.
3.5.5.1 Function - The-Adapter Mount MX-8558/AWW-4(V) shall provide the
electrical and mechanical interface used to adapt the Power Supply PP-6419/AWW-4(V)
to certain aircraft mounting and wiring configurations previously used in mounting
the Fuze Function Control Set AN/AWW-l. The Adapter Mount MX-8558/AWW-4(V) is
used when the aircraft is equipped with an integrated cockpit control panel which
is wired for use with Fuze Function Control Set AN/AWW-l.
3.5.5.2 Weight - The weight of the Adapter Mount MX-8558/AWW-4(V) shall not
exceed 2.4 pounds.
3.5.6 Adapter, Mount MX-9169/AWW-4(V) - The Adapter Mount MX-9169/AWW-4(V)
shall be manufactured in accordance with the documents listed on DL 203AS1OO and
shall meet the requirements stated thereon and in the following subparagraphs.
3.5.6.1 Function - The Adapter Mount MX-9169/AWW-4(V) shall provide the
mechanical interface for mounting the Power Supply PP-6419/AWW-4(V) in the
MT-3804/AWW-2A electrical equipment rack. The Adapter Mount MX-9169/AWW-4(V) is
used in conjunction with the MT-38O4/AWW-2A electrical equipment rack, in lieu of
using the Adapter Mount MX-8556/AWW-4(V), to adapt the Power Supply PP-6419/AWW-4(V)
to certain aircraft mounting configurations previously used in mounting Fuze
Function Control Sets AN/AWW-2A and AN/AWW-2B when mounting area restrictions do
not permit top access to the Power Supply PP-6419/AWW-4(V) mounting screws.
3.5.6.2 Weight - The weight of the Adapter Mount MX-9169/AWW-4(V) shall not
exceed 2.8 pounds.
4.
QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS
4.1 Responsibility for Inspection - Unless otherwise specified in the contract
or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection
requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified, the supplier may
utilize his own facilities or any commercial laboratory acceptable to the
