3.1.4 Government furnished property. The following equipment will be
furnished by the Government for testing of the system (see 6.2.1):
a.
M55A1B1 or M51A3 20-mm dummy ammunition
b.
M14A1 ammunition links
c.
M197 20-mm 3-barrel gun (barrels may be shortened to facilitate test)
d.
M89E1 feeder
e.
M55A2 target practice (TP) ammunition;
3.2 Characteristics.
3.2.1 Performance.
3.2.1.1 Positioning accuracy.  For any position within the turret angular
coverage, the turret shall assume a position not greater than 5 roils in the
elevation or azimuth axes from a commanded static position.
3.2.1.2 Dispersion.  With the turret mounted on a test stand and zero
error signal applied to the turret, the system shall fire a continuous 100-round
burst that results in 80 percent of the rounds fired either falling within or
cutting a circle with a maximum diameter of 12 mils.
3.2.1.3 Firing rates.  With the turret in the positions specified in Table
IV, the system shall fire at a rate of 675 + 30, -75 shots per minute (spin).
