4.6.3 Five-hour continuous test at full load. Immediately following the test specified
in 4.6.2 the-r set shall be operated at full load for 4 hours. The following data
shall be taken at 30 minute intervals during the test and shall be recorded on test record
forms:
Time.
(a)
Ambient temperature.
(b)
(c)
Fuel consumption.
Engine fuel oil pressure.
(d)
(e)
Engine lubricating oil pressure.
(f)
Engine lubricating oil temperature.
Water temperature.
(g)
Speed of engine.
(h)
(i)
Generator bearing temperatures.
(j)
volts , line-to-line.
(k)
Current, line.
Generator frame temperature.
(1)
Generator armature temperature.
(m)
Generator field current and voltage.
(n)
Generator inlet and exhaust air temperature.

Frequency.
(p)
Kva and kw.
(q)
(r)
Power factor.
4.6.3.1 At the conclusion of the 5 hour period (see 4.1.3), temperatures of the rotating
components of the generator shall be measured and shall be recorded immediately upon shutdown.
4.6.4 Mechanical  balance. The mechanical balance shall be observed during the progress
of all test. Any unusual noises, excessive vibration, or other indication of malfunction
shall be cause for rejection of the unit. Vibration readings in roils double amplitude should
be taken on the engine and generator bearing  brackets or shafts, and recorded for information.
