6.5 First article. When a first article inspection is required, the
Item will be tested and should be the first production item. The firt article
should consist of one unit. The contracting officer should include specific
instructions in acquisition documents regarding arrangements for examinations,
test, approval, and disposition of the first article.
6.6 Government-furnished property. The contracting officer should
arrange to furnish the property listed in 3.1.2.
