MILITARY SPECIFICATION
INFLATION ASSEMBLIES, LIFE PRESERVER
This specification is approved for use
by all Departments and Agencies of the
Department of Defense.
SCOPE
1.
1.1 Scope. This specification covers the requirements for three types of life
preserver inflation assemblies and three different styles of lanyards,
1.2 Classification. The life preserver inflation assemblies and lanyards shall
be of the following types and styles, as specified (see 6.2,1):
Application
Lanyard style

MIL-C-601 cylinders.
