4.3.3.6 Igniter Charge Weight Test (see 3.1.1) - Major Defect-
Code No. 08001.  Two samples per 2 hours of igniter production shall
be tested for the proper weight of charge as specified in 4.4.6 (prior
to canning) using equipment in accordance with 4.3.4. Any one weight
not within tolerance limits specified shall cause the preceding 2 hours
production to be rejected.
4.3.3.7 Igniter Charge Composition Test (see dwg. 457784) Major defect -
Code No. 09001.  Two samples per 8 hours of igniter production shall
tested for the proper composition of the charge, as specified in 4.4.7
using equipment in accordance with 4.3.4. Any percentage exceeding
those specified shall cause the preceeding 8 hours production to be
rejected.

4.3,3.8 Moisture content determination,  Two sample igniters from
each four hours of production shall be tested for moisture content as
specified in 3,1.2.  The test shall be performed as specified in 4.4.8.
Any igniter found to have black powder with excessive moisture will cause
rejection of all igniters manufactured since the last test sample having
proper moisture content.

4.3.4 Inspection equipment.  The contractor shall design inspection
equipment in accordance with instructions in 6,3.

4.3,4.1 Government rights to documentation.  Inspection equipment
drawings provided and revised in accordance with the requirements of this
specification may be used by DoD activities for design, procurement,
manufacture, testing, evaluation, production and receiving inspection,
overhaul, shipping, storage, identification of stock, ordering and
storage of replacement parts, inspection of items at overhaul, general
maintenance of equipment, construction, survey and wherever inspection
equipment drawings are needed,
4.3.4.2 Supply and maintenance.  Supply and maintenance of the

inspection equipment shall be in accordance with MIL-I-45607.
4.3.4.3 Government use of contractor's inspection equipment.
The contractor shall make availa to the Government all inspection
equipment necessary for determining conformance with contract requirements.
Personnel for operating the equipment and verification of its accuracy shall
be supplied by the contractor for the performance of examination or test by
the Government.
